Spiritual Formation Discovery is an interactive group process of assessing where you are in your spiritual journey by bringing clarity to your past spiritual experience, in light of a paradigm for spiritual growth, and then discovering how you can cooperate with God more intentionally in your ongoing Spiritual Formation. Our hope is to give you a glimpse of God's heart for you and your future. Come discover the experience!

Affect Your World the Way Jesus Did His
God gifts leaders with authenticity and authority through their intimacy with Him. As a leader, your ministry effectiveness and longevity are directly related to the degree of your transformation into the likeness of Jesus. And, since what you have to pour out comes directly from what God has done and is doing in your life, your own Spiritual Formation will provide the foundation of personal ministry to others.
Why the Focus on Leaders?
Personal intimacy with the Trinity, lived out in authentic community, is key to the process of spiritual formation. Leaders can only lead where they have been. Lasting change can only happen in a church when it has first happened in its leadership.
This Discovery is an opportunity for you, as a leader, to further investigate your own spiritual journey. You will be better able to discern how to lead your ministry into a deeper level of spiritual formation, as well as empower and release followers of Jesus to impact the world with the Gospel.
Spiritual Formation
Spiritual Formation is the process that takes place in the believer, as the life of the Spirit of God transforms our spirit through deepening intimacy with the Trinity, changing our being from the inside out into the likeness of Jesus Christ. Spiritual formation also involves the believer's intentional response to God in this transformation process. The goal of this process in the believer is the reflection of God's glory in a relationship of love with God and toward the world for which He died.

PRICING:
Regular registration = $170 per person
Discovery II = $85 per person
LODGING:
Participants may go home to sleep or stay in local motels or the dorms at Lancaster Bible College for $25 per night. A limited number of dorm rooms are available so register early! You will be contacted regarding the rooming details after you register.

FAQ Overview
Can I come for part or only one weekend of the Discovery?
No. Because the Discovery is an unfolding process and much of the work is done in groups, participants would find it disruptive to miss part of the experience.
What does the registration cost cover?
Friday and Saturday lunch and dinner and Sunday lunch
Snacks throughout the weekend
Participant materials (workbooks, etc.)
Travel and lodging for presenters
Imago Christi honorarium for international travel fund

How do I prepare for the Discovery?
Prayer and Prework: Two weeks prior to the event, a pre-work package will be emailed to you. It is important that you complete the pre-work prior to the Discovery so that you will be prepared to participate fully.
